Build the Satellite1 Together
I built the whole thing, case and all. looks great, but doesnt pick up sound as well as my nabu casa PE's. i have it in a quiet environment, a room from my PE. so a door separates them, when i say the words, my pe picks it up even if i am over the satellite 1. overall its a great product, and i would buy again.
fantastic smart speaker board for your own smart home
Powers the Sat1 as expected 👍
Assembled kit last weekend. Great instruction video to follow. Speaker and crossover sound pretty good as well. Enclosure doesn't seem to affect reponse either.
So I‘ve started designing a speaker enclosure and ended up being done before the kit even arrived, because of the great documentation.
It would be great, if the kit would expose itself, like any other smart speaker does (but playing music through music-assistant is sufficient until then).
