The LD2450 is a motion target tracking sensor module from Hi-Link's 24G millimeter wave radar series. It enable location tracking of still and moving human bodies.
Key Features:
- Tracks up to 3 still or moving human targets simultaneously, reporting real-time distance, angle, and speed.
- Detection range up to ~8 meters, with ±60° horizontal and ±35° vertical angular coverage.
- Connect to Sat1 Hat via the included 4-pin connector cable. Or connect directly to the 2450 header on the Hat.
- Tune the radar and define hot zones and exclusion zones within the Sat1 firmware.
Additional Included Components:
- 1 pcs 10 cm dual headed 4-pin connector cable compatible with Satellite1.1 hats.

Build the Satellite1 Together
Just works inside the smart speaker. Hardest part was sliding it down into its groove without leaving wires to pinch as I popped down the lid.
It works very well and I can just wave at it from across the room and it registers the movement.
I tested with an automatization on homeassistant and it work better than aqara in my opinion
Hi, i use in the satellite and it work more or less nice. Often the presense detection toggles, but to be honest i did tune it much so far. It fits well in the Satellite and was easy it assemble.
so far works great, accurate sensing with directional indicators, very accurate in my initial testing.
The sensor is pretty awesome, just want to get that out of the way from the jump. I don't think it is any real fault with the sensor, and likely more user error with any shortcomings I've run into, but it is still amazing. I may not have been able to get it installed 100% correctly, or not have the entire SatOne it is installed in JUST the right place for the mmwave to work better, but it is still meeting the need I had well enough to order another :)
